i succeeded installing the latest NVIDIA drivers Version: 97.46
but the lagging has not disappeared,

what could cause the lagging?
anyone any ideas?

I had the lagging problem, had to downgrade the raid-drivers to version 5.30C.

Hey, i've got a little problem.

At first i also had the lagging problem but that was helped with the raid downgrade but now i've got the problem that the cpu load is almost allways 100% (power plan = high performance) and when i check processes i never i count more that 50%. I haven't been able to install all drivers offcourse because of incompatibilitty with vista so that's probably the problem but i don't know the solution. Can anyone help me please, any info will be appreciated.

Has anyone noticed that after installing Vista on the 3438G that the volume control wheel, laptop buttons and F key controls don't work?

Is anyone else having this problem?

Context: I installed Vista Home Premium on my 3438G. It recognized most of my hardware, except the Via RAID controller, which I had to load during installation, and the audio card, which I installed afterwards. Except for the above issue it works fine.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi betamod.

I have installed Vista on my M3438 about a month ago (loving it by the way, I'm really surprised).

The volume wheel doesn't work any more indeed, probably because the audio driver does not recognize it, or does not understand it's signal. I don't know if this might be solved with a future driver, but if not, I guess you'll have to get used to change it with the volume icon on the tray bar.

Regarding the laptop buttons and F keys, they all work for me, I have no idea why they don't on yours O_o

Your installation process is normal, that is suppose to happen with everyone. Your keys situation is baffling me >_< Have you tried checking the keyboard settings on your hardware tab?

And.. in fujitsu homepage i didnt see that amilo 3438g support windows vista.. but in this forum you have windows vista installed

I have Windows Vista Ultimate installed, so I guess every other Vista will work, it's just a matter of personal taste.

3438 fully supports Window Vista, no need to worry!
