You will need modules of the type SO-DIMM DDR2 PC2-4200 or PC2-5300.
According to the datasheet 1GB is the maximum, but I think 2GB should work too (no guaranty).
MDT, Kingston and Samsung are known to be reliable brands.

Hi there,

IF anyone came across this RAM upgrade problem could you please help me.
The thing is I've got this AMILO l7320gw which has 512MB as default. I found this technical specification http://www.notebook.hu/download.cmt?id=708 whcih says we can expand the memory size up to 2GB. I bought a single 2GB DDR2 RAM, but the laptop couldn't recognise the whole RAM just 1GB, so I put the original next to the new one, so now I can see 1,5GB under Windows XP professional SP2. I bought a new esprimo D9500 which has the same sort of RAMs, but it can manage a bit fater RAMs as well and it's expandable up to 4GB. It has two single 1GB RAMs now, so I took them out and swaped them over with the RAMs of the Amilo. Esprimo can see the whole 2,5GB RAM which is good, but Amilo can see only 1GB of the two single 1GB RAMs (all together 2GB). What's wrong with this Amilo, I found lots of forums and problem descriptions regarding Amilo 7320 RAMs, but no solution...

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you ever get this figured out? About to upgrade the RAM on my L7320GW and, although I'd prefer 2Gb, I don't wanna waste money if it can only handle 1Gb...
