Amilo 1520 - Heating Up

Postby meinjordan » Fri Sep 08, 2006 6:34 am

Hi there

I got new Amilo 1520 last week. my laptop heats up after use of 30-45 minutes. particularly below the keyboard, right side of touch mouse is so hot that I feel my hand will burn, though left below key pad is also hot.

I took it to service centre and got response it is normal with Amilo series. Is it true?

can anyone suggest what could be wrong, is it just my laptop and you guys also have same problem? any suggested solution?

thanks

depends on what "hot" is for you.

I guess the temperature you are feeling is normal and not too hot for the Amilo.

If the temperature of touchpad, keyboard or upper case is less than 65C, then it's OK...regarding to user manual :)
