hello all,

i have an amilo pi 3540.. linux users didn't help me about wireless.. I tried many things including ndiswrapper.. but anything worked..

can anyone help me with wireless card? it is wifi link 5100...

Does it have linux drivers

doesn't anyone know a way for me to make my comp recognise my intel wifi link 5100 wlan card?

Any experiences?

Try a new release like Ubuntu 8.10, then your chances are good that it'll work at once - I read reports that it does ;-)

I tried the latest distros.. it's about wlan driver.. i'm close to be sure

i tried opensuse 11.0, it's the latest one, and must be the best one..

i tried pardus hyenna hyenna 2008.1 also.. it's the best and nonproblemmed linux distro in turkey..

but as i said at first time they didn't work.. Did you used with ubuntu with this computer? I don't think that anything changed but if you got success, i will try too..
