CPU temperature.....

Postby Otori » Sun Nov 23, 2008 7:59 pm

So, I decided to insert the new CPU myself, T8100, since I got a good explanation and it didn't seem too difficult.
Before doing it I have a little question. My current CPU T2330 1.60GHz temperatures are: When idle: 49-52°C
When Load: 52-63°C

Are these temperatures too high? Or are they ok? I know the processor can run up to 100°C.

These temperatures are below average. If you apply the heat conductive paste or thermal pad correctly you shouldn't have problems with your new CPU.
