Hi, I have an Amilo li3710 and tried to install XP, but after the message "setup is starting windows" it appear bluescreen. I've tried a lot of XP with SATA sites included, but was the same result. I`ve tried to integrate SATA drivers on a Windows XP original, but again the same result. Please help me!!!! What could I do?
Do you have any USB devices attached when you try to install Windows? If so, remove them - even if it's only a mouse. Maybe you'll even have to deactivate the camera in the BIOS for the installation, since it is connected via USB too. What does the blue screen tell you?
Here is the bluescreen: I have not tried to dezactivate the mouse, but I will do this. I am back, and I have tried to dezactivate the mouse and other usb controllers, but the same result. Oh, and first time I have tried from the usb stick (the blank CD is very hard to find).
This looks like you used the wrong SATA controller driver (or none at all). You need the one for the ICH9-M chipset. Did you use that one (and only this)? Unfortunately I can't give you detailed information about its integration since I only did that once which is some years ago. I used xpisobuilder by then but we have reports that this integration isn't always successful. You may use nlite instead. I have no idea how reliable the USB key variant is with current Amilos.
