Amilo Pro V2010 CPU upgrade

Postby dno32 » Tue Dec 30, 2008 11:19 am

Does anyone know if the Amilo V2010 CPU can be upgraded from a Celeron M to a Pentium M? I have read the thread for the V2030 upgrade but I am not sure what the difference is between the two models.

You can directly apply the tutorial to your notebook. Both models are nearly identical.

Thanks again hikaru

I sucessfully upgraded my v2010 to the Pentium M 1.7Ghz SL7EP works a treat

The only difference to the V2030 install is that the V2010 CPU is under the keyboard, pop the back plate off and undo 5 screws and your there.

BTW - I bought two 1.7 Ghz SL7EP so if anyone is interested they can have it for £20 plus a couple quid p&p

Hi. Just a bit of a long shot - do you still have the spare CPU?
