Can anyone tell me where can I get these from so I can reinstal the OS? I looked on the Fujitsu Siemens site and only found downloads for Germany!
I'd appreciate any help or suggestions that can help me get up and running again.

Amilo Li1718 HDD failed - how do I get installation discs?

My Amilo Li1718 HDD doesnt work - it sounds like the hdd can't start up properly. The laptop eventually reports no operating system found. Looks like the HDD is dead and will need to be replaced. It is a 120Gb Sata drive. The laptop was received with Vista basic installed, I don't have a recovery disc or Vista instal discs.

cant u just buy a new vista OS disk. i know u can get 1 from here if u are a student- www.rm.com/thebasement . They do Windows Vista Ultimate for about £50
