HI all.. I have an Amilo i 2528... I just removed vista and installed xp.. at first, the keyboard was working fine bt the cursor was flying around everywhere because the touchpad was too sensitive... so I installed the windows xp synaptics driver.. and now the problem is no longr with the touchpad... its with the keyboard.. it keeps skipping letters when I type.. somone please help!!!

Did you try to install other versions of the synaptics driver?
Maybe there is a BIOS update that resolves the problem?

same problem here with the pi 3540 and linux (ubuntu 9.04 with ubuntu kernel 2.6.28 and custom 2.6.30)

Same problem on my PI3540. Tested with both Vista and Windows 7 and multiple versions of the Synaptics driver. I'm pretty sure the problem is a BIOS bug with the laptop. I wish they would roll out a fix.
