Hi,
the startup problem is a known issue. Fujitsu gives you extra guarentee for it.
I just called Fujitsu Holland because of my startup issue with my XA 1526. No problem: my laptop will be picked up and serviced.

Just after my previous post, I returned to square one.
Amilo died on me again
Still wanted to salvage my screen  , yet knew that without the needed knowledge it would lead to converting my server into an expensive toaster.
I chose the other option of contacting a very efficient customer service. :|
After the call, they rapidly sent me an e-mail that had all the information to send the amilo, free of charge, in for repair.
I sent the amilo in for repair and it was returned to me within a couple of days (NOT WEEKS!!! DAYS!) Good service is rare  . On the same day I got my laptop back, I changed a car battery, some Peugeot garages wanted to charge me 12€ to get the 4 digit pin needed to get the car stereo to work. Moving around, I found one branch that did it for free, it took less than a minute to get the code. (12€ a minute?)
There is good service and bad service in this world, in my books (of being a bad customer) I can't say anything other than Fujistu provide an excellent Customer service.
They fixed the computer, replaced a screw I lost from taking the laptop apart a dozen times, cleaned it and returned it almost before I even sent it?
I hadn't checked this forum since my last post, so couldn't tell Lela that her problem is more than likely the same recurring one in this stream, contact Customer service.
I Didn't know where else to thank Fujitsu, my apologies for having been rude.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
