There is no official XP support for the Li 3710.
The only driver FSC provides is the one for WLAN.

Since it seems like nobody else tried to install XP on the Li 3710 so far, you'll have to find the drivers on your own if LucianXXX doesn't reply in the other thread.

I have installed Windows XP professional on Amilo LI 3710. Slipstream XP with latest service pack (SP3), and add mass storage driver pack (for sata) if you wish. Driver pack can be found here: http://www.driverpacks.net/

As for drivers, after installation of xp, missing drivers are: WLAN, LAN, Audio,Graphic and Chipset.

You can find graphic drivers on intel website and WLAN on offical fujitsu website.

I have uploaded audio, chipset and LAN drivers. Those worked just fine for me.

I tried to slipstream XP with mass storage driver pack as you suggested but with no success.

Do you maybe know which SATA driver is the right one for Li 3710 since in that Driverspacks there is almost 100 different drivers?

What is the proper way to slipstream all those drivers? Do you left them ziped with .7Z or you first extract them and then use the multiple folder option in NLite when slipstreaming? :?:

Is it VIA SATA controler inside Li 3710?

Cheers.

It wont let me do that, I get a BSOD, I got this message during setup.

"Setup was unable to load support for the mass storage device you specified currently. Setup will load support for the following mass storage device(s)"

<none>

After that I had the option of hitting return to continue setup which I did then it seemed to load a few drivers....keyboard etc, realtek and so on then i got a blue screen of death which said the following.

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer"

Stop: 0x0000007B (0xf78D2324, 0xc0000054, 0x00000000, 0x00000000

Hi there all,

I am having the same agravating problem trying to install XP on the Li 3710 (With VIsta Preloaded) - Booting with a XP SP3 CD.
When I run the setup I get the BSOD with Stop 0x7B when setup starts (Starting windows) after loading the driver files.
I have already tried integrating the SATA Drivers with Nlite but with the same result.
One point : I was unsure on adding the SATA driver with Nlight - whether to choose a specific driver (TEXT BASED) so I selected the PNP option instead. (there were about 20 options on the Intel SATA driver file listed)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.

Kind Regards,

i have tryed and tryed and tryed and tryed with no joy to get the sata drivers to work, i have downloaded the ones from rapidshare, no joy, it seems you have to install them coz they are a exe file, nlite wont reconise them, have also try some other fujitsu drivers that i have found after some time of searching the net they didnt work. i keep getting the following message after intergrating the drivers into xp...

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

tech info *** stop: 0x0000007B (0xF7C6863C,0x0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

i got a fujitsu amilo li 3710
1 gig ram
150gig hdd
dvd rw

if anyone can tell me where to get the drivers i need apart from the ones i have tryed and had no joy with,, this would be great.....

thanks X
