[Windows XP]Which Sata driver for amilo Pi 3625

Postby Jeroen1000 » Mon Feb 16, 2009 11:15 am

Title say it all really. I've been searching the forums but my first attempt of slipstreaming one failed. I've got to slipstream the correct one and that is probably where it went wrong. If anyone can point me to it please help me out!
thanks,

Jeroen

Did you try Intel ICH9M (RAID-)Controller (S-ATA)?

Hi Aaron, yes! That one worked. I apparently used the wrong one's earlier. In my first attempt, I slipstreamed all the non-Microsoft drivers using Driver Magician and nlite. Needless to say that didn't work out. Then I downloaded the official one's for XP (found them on Intel's website) extracted the driver files from the setup file and again added the wrong one. The one you state is indeed the one I needed to add.
I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices presented by Nlite after selecting the folder with the extracted drivers.
I suppose I can use the display drivers from the Intel website too.

I have noticed there are quite a few devices that need be installed :).

Many thanks for pointing out the correct one!
