Hi, I have the same problem. It started two days ago. I used the restore to an earlier version, [I asume BIOS settings , but I'm not computer literate]. That worked once and the window filled the screen as it should do. The next time I booted up the window was only filling about 70% of the creen area.
I have spy doctor installed and it did report a troja called Backdoo.Bandok had been sent to my computer. It isolated it but I wonder if this may be the cause of the problem.
I have been told to save all my files and note all the programmes I use and if they were off the net to note the URLs they came from - no mean task- it will take me hours.
After saving I was told to re-load the operating system from the original amilo disk, selecting the format option to wipe the hard drive, and then re-install everything.
Regards and good luck . Freddie

Guys, I had the same problems with Amili pi1505 for a long time. I was still using it despite this failure and by accident I've found out that if I start the laptop on a special way the screen will be normal-sized and everything will work perfectly.

1. Press the start up button on the laptop
2. Put the upper lid down (no need to close it, just as down as possible) before BIOS starts loading up (that means in the next few seconds).
3. Wait for 5 - 10 seconds, then lift the lid up to normal position.
4. Thats it

Don't have and can't find a reasonable explanation for this but it seems to be working with my laptop. This method has never failed me so far.

Hope this helps!
