Amilo pi 3625 front connectors

Postby Jeroen1000 » Thu Mar 19, 2009 10:00 am

Hi guys,

Simple question but I can't find it in the manual. What's the port next to (to the right so not the SPDIF out) the micro in?

Thanks,

Jeroen

According to the datasheet you have line in, microphone and line out. I don't know in which order. Line in is roughly an unamplified microphone.
Right of the audio-sockets there is the rectangular SD-cardslot if this is what you're asking for.

Hi hikaru,

the line out is the SPDIF connector (both analogue and digital audio if I am correct) and the micro-in also has suitable icon. I would also place my bet on a line in then. Well I'll try to record something then...or I assume it will also be possible to send audio to the line in and then out the SPDIF (line out).

Correct. They share the same socket.

This should work fine. Depending on whether the input signal is already amplified or not you should use line in or microphone.

This might be a problem because not all sound cards support in- and output simultaneously.
