Amilo Pro v2085 drivers and Windows 7

Postby anco85 » Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:25 pm

Pardon me if this has been asked before, but a search on the site brought up nothing.

I'm giving the latest build of Win 7(7022) a whirl on my v2085 and I'm struggling to get 2 main components to function 100%

I can't seem to find Win 7 drivers for either my sound card or graphics card.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you

Well, explain which things you already tried, e. g. did you download the graphics driver directly from Intel and install it?

The graphics drivers I've gotten to semi work, my biggest concern is the audio drivers.

I've downloaded numerous Vista drivers and all of them say that the operating system is not supported. I can't find drivers for Windows 7 anywhere though

Try to only extract the vista driver and select it manually.
If you only have a single executable file (the setup program), then maybe you can find the driver in a temporary directory after starting the setup (but before closing it), or you can start the setup with special parameters on the command line (often the parameter "/?" or something similar shows a short help).

I succesfully installed W7 (build 7077) on my Xi2528, has same issue with video driver, you can try:
- The intel original driver on the Drivers DVD or downloading the last one fron FJS site (gave me some problems to install)
- The JMicron driver series, (100% compatible)
Audio, had no issues, using the original driver from DVD.
By the way, have you re-flashed the last bios update from FJS site?

Attaching one of the JMicron, hope it helps.

Got the video drivers working, but still no audio.

Extracting Vista drivers doesn't work either and windows update gives me the "High definition Audio Device" which doesn't work.

I really like Win 7, but I'm damn close to reverting back to Win XP
