Amilo li2727 No Power after screen replacement

Postby bobsyeruncle » Thu May 21, 2009 10:32 am

Hi all,

As the title suggests, my little one sat on the screen and cracked it. Bought a new one from a well known auction site, installed at and now my machine has no power whatsoever.

It still had power with the broken screen. No battery light , no AC light even without battery just nothing. Should i try the hardware reset of pressing the power button? I dont want to lose anything off the HDD.

Thanks

You won't lose data when using the "hardware reset", so it's always worth a try.

Hi Bob,

Could you tell me if you managed to fix this problems, I have a similar one

When I replacedthe screen I tried it and it worked, however, I put hinges on basck to front so had to redo.

When i tried it the next time there was no power to the unit at all.

The second time, I did forgot to remove the battery when connecting the inverter. (im gonna order a replacement and see what happens)
