Hello
My english is not so good, but I hope, is good enaugh to explain my problem.

I have got Amilo 1655G notebook, and Big problem with CPU. When I wroking with some big file,( ex. import 120MB database in phpMyAdmin), or I play a simple game, or watching online movies, then the frequency of my CPU is going down. From 1,79 Ghz (oryginally) is going down to 1,11 Ghz, 1 minute later is 444 Mhz, and finally 214 Mhz :/ I dont know whats ig going on. It is a Turion Ml-32 processor. I have bought Athlon 64, and i swap Cpu's but it is not help. Frequency is going down even faster than Turion. The Temperature is between 73-80 C.

I hear about Temperature Throttling or something like that. Do I have that function in my notebook ? How to turn it off ?

Any ideas?

You can't turn it off, it's a safety measure to prevent overheating - so you'll have to improve the cooling (remove dust from the heatpipe, renew the heat-conductive paste).
