Yesterday i observed that my cpu was at a constant 20% and above usage so i decided to make some changes :I installed Tune Up utilities 2009 and made some maintenance , i deactivated some startup programs and also deactivated Windows Widgets and installed yahoo widgets (my favourite ) .Now the cpu almost reaches 0% usage and i also observe thet the cpu clock is being set to 800 mhz while idle (a great thing , it extendes battery life , now the battery holds almost an hour and 5 minutes or so ).I retract my previous statement about slowlyness etc. It works much better -Fast as hell ! Some screenshots attached .ABout 0-7% usage with Wiamp , yahoo,firefox,anira antivirus and other proccesses running !

Oh crap , here is another link http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PJ68TS2P enjoy .I sold my amilo and got a hp 530 .Sincerly , i know this is a pro-fujitsu forum but fujitsu sucks , big time .I got a port replicator and the soudn cardwas cutting sound form 20 to 20 minutes .Also i got a behringer bcd 2000 console and the sound stopped after 2 hours .Also the video card was lame ! +i had constant crashes , blue screens , the keyboard and touch pad froze from time to time , the internet stopped working from time to time(a couple of hours) , also , because of the dust the fan actually gets in the laptop ,the dvd rom failed after just a few moths THIS REALLY SUCKED !!! .People , if you want my advice HP and Dell all the way .Cheers

Hi id just like to say that this is a great post. BUT im wondering if you could help me with a problem i done the same as you put xp on my amilo now ive upgraded to windows 7 home basic (7600) and most stuff works fine apart from i cannot conect to the internet.

i can conect to my router though wifi but i get "no internet acess" and "no network acess" i know this is not a issue with my router becuase i have other computer running windows 7 off of it. so i thought il check what driver is istall for the "ar5005g" network card and its 2.0.0.74 and i think the one in your download is 2.0.0.7 so when i go to update driver it just simple says that my driver is already up to date so i tried unistalling the driver but as soon as you do windows auto installs it back again and becuase i only have home basic i cant to the hole "gpedit" method for turning the device driver auto install off.

so then i thought i will just conect through ethernet then just do a windows update and see if that solves the problem but when i did so i found that the ethernet doesnt work ethier this time just not even detecting that i have plugged it in.

would apreciate any help you could give me thank you

well , windows , strangely , sometimes gives your wireless netweork card an ip adress and subnet mask , try and set them to automatically ....

but yes all that is all set to auto and all i get is "no internet acess" "no network Acess" also i notice it will not let me conect to the homegroup says that i have the rong password but have checked and change and re entered a few times and still nothing i dont know if the problem lies with the drivers or windows 7

in that case try to reinstall windows - just take a p i r a t e d one from www(.)thepiratebay(.)com for test ONLY - If with the new windows your network card will work alright then you must buy it (yeah right ) ) ...

anyway ive solved the problem for some strange reason disabling the via rhine ethernet in device manager sorted it ovb i cant use ethernet but i dont need to i only need wifi so that all good cheers for your help mate

Hello there!
First of all: This is a very good post!

I have an AMILO Li 1705, upgraded to Windows 7, and i still have some problems.
As you probably all know, El Gato EYETV and Hauppauge tv-tuners are more than similar, and, as i read over the net, it could be possible to recognice mi EYETV as a Hauppauge one, in order to see TV in my AMILO, trough MEdia Center, for instance. But, even when i'm able to sintonice all chanels, i CANT se video, due toa video ERROR. I have tried with 'by default' video drivers that W7, the generic ones, but ERROR. Then i found this post, and got the full set of drivers, but....i CANT use that graphic driver! I now use instead the VISTA driver, and it's is 'fully functional', but, i still have the same VIDEO ERROR when trying to run LIVE TV: WMC crashes.
Now i'm not shure if is it the driver, or a hardaware 'limitation' due to it's shared video RAM.
two questions:
a) Have you experienced with this EL GATO EYETV on your AMILOS? with WINDOWS 7 pro?
b) How can i uso the graphic drivers you provided here? i just get an error, similar to: 'the s3iscfg.dat es illegal' or something like that

I solved the AUDIO problem by using your audio driver, THANKS!.

I really don't know , i never had to use a tv tuner to watch tv on my laptop ...i use http://www.cool-webtv.com/ and i can watch all the tv programs i want ....I now own aFujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5535 on windows XP so i can use my unlocking software for phones(Ns Pro) ....i will switch to windows 7 soon ...
