Sorry if this is an old topic guys but I have a similar problem. Before Christmas my Amilo Li1818 was showing 0% available, (plugged in, not charging). Now I think its the original battery so its got to be 5 years old. I posted this charging problem on a Fujitsu forum
http://forum.ts.fujitsu.com/forum/viewt ... 24&t=43562They said plugged in not charging message was an inherent problem in vista
I uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery in device manager and clicked scan for new hardware and it found the charger and it started charging again.
So I thought I my as well get a new battery so I searched eBay and found 14.8v battery 10 available £22.99 in China. I ordered it and waited for it to be delivered. Obviously the Christmas post will slow things down so after Christmas I asked the seller when I could expect it? He said if you don't receive it within 45 days let me know and he will give me a refund. I waited till mid January and it still didn't arrive I emailed him a couple of times but he never replied so I put a complaint in eBay about it one week later he refunded the money.
Now I've search eBay since for a battery but they keep showing 10.8v or 11.1v but no 14.8v. How can they make a laptop and have different voltage batteries? I've search the web for 14.8v batteries and they are extorsionate prices £70 plus. I only paid £50 for the laptop.
Does anyone know where I can get a 14.8v battery at a reasonable price?
Any help would be appreciated.
