Change RAM speed?

Postby Nikolai » Tue Jul 28, 2009 9:23 pm

Hey,
I have an Amilo m1450g with a 533mhz FSB,and I'm trying to put pc3200 ram in there (there's currently pc2700 ram in there). But it's not accepting it,somebody told me I need to change my RAM speed, but I can't find the RAM configuration menu in my BIOS and it's really getting on my nerves!
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
NiK.

As far as I know you can't set the speed manually in the BIOS.
But I doubt you'll ever notice the difference: it's a small advantage in benchmarks, but no performance difference you can "feel".
