Amilo PI 2550 remove HDD

Postby dru » Tue Sep 01, 2009 3:57 pm

Hello. How can I remove HDD ? I found it, but cannot get it out. There is a plastic tag, but I can't get the drive out using it. I can get it up from one side to ~ 30°, but what further? I attached a photo of the HDD in notebook.

It seems like you have to pull the HDD to the right without lifting it, so that it slides a bit under the notebook case on the right side. Then you should be able to lift it starting on the left side.

There was a screw at the left up corner of drive in image... Thank you, I successfully removed the HDD.

I don't get it, where is the final screw?

I've removed the screws at the arrows. I think there is two more at the back, but I'm unsure. Besides, I don't understand how to reach them.

Feels like something will break if I bend it more upwards.
