Hi,

I would like to install Linux on my Amilo machine. I have tried several Linux distros and I am still encountering a problem related to the installation and configuration of video card. Neither of distros that I have tried has ben copable of detecting my video card (VIA Unichrome PN800). In fact the kernel detects the video hardware but not in a proper way. E.g. I cannot use default resolution of my LCD (1280x800). Is there any way to solve the problem ? Has any of You succeded in "installation and configuration" of video card in L7310W ? Which Linux distribution would You recommend to install on my laptop ?
