what is the maximum ram for Xi 1526 2 , 2.5 or 4 ?

You can install up to 4GB of RAM but depending on the OS you might not be able to use the full capacity. On a 32bit Windows 2-2.5 GB sounds reasonable.

i know for the xp limitation on 3gb but you can use 3g switch as described here

I'm just asking has anyone put 4 gb of ram in xi 1526
