ATI Xpress 1100 at 1920x1080?

Postby juaaslo » Fri Oct 02, 2009 10:15 am

Hello everybody,
i have been searching for this and found nothing (if it is already said, please, just notify).
I have an Amilo Pa 1510 with ATI xpress 1100.
I bought a new Full HD TV and thought using the VGA out of the laptop to send movies to the TV, but highest resolution available is 1600x1200. I tried to download last drivers in amd.ati site (they claim to support xpress 1100) but it is not possible for me to install them (error).
Do you know if with this card is possible to have that resolution?
I have read in this forum about one guy who installed drivers from ati.amd site, but impossible for me...anyone else did it?

Thank you very much for your time!!!
Best regards

Hello All,
thanks to the post about new catalyst driver i am able to set the resolution for external TV!!!
Now the problem is the performance to 'move' full hd videos. When I play them, the motion is not fluent. Is it possible to accelerate by hardware with ATI Xpress 1100??
Thanx in advance!
