As some of you may know, the Synaptics touchpad driver interferes with the
keyboard on some Fujitsu Amilo models, resulting in VERY annoying
"swallowed keys" while you're typing.
I have found a workaround:
- Uninstall the Synaptics driver completely, let Windows delete the driver files from disk
- Reboot
- The touchpad is now recognized as a "Normal" ps/2 mouse by Windows
- Download and install the freeware application "touchfreeze 1.02" .
This little application prevents the touchpad from generating mouse clicks whilst you're typing.
