Hello yesterday I installed windows 7(a clean restart not an upgrade) on my amilo Xa 2528 and now I have some problems with my laptop.
The FN button next to windows button my my keyboard doesn't work anymore.
The volume button scroll thingy on the front where you control the volume doesn't work anymore.

and that's about it for what I have notist.

I also notist that my remote control doesn't work anymore that came with the laptop.

Hi, once finishes W7 install, insert original DVD Drivers that come with your Amilo 2528 & let it run in automatic mode. worked for me.

Well that is the problem i didn't get a dvd with my amilo :/

And the problem is?
You can download all drivers on DVD from Fujitsu Site..
same as inserting original DVD is burning a DVD after downloading all content... just enter the site, provide your serial & the site will list all drivers you need...

I have the same situation (64 bit based win7)

But my audio jack for headphones is also not working.
I've tried the original drivers.

Hi, make sure you have installed "Realtek HD Audio Manager" fron your drivers DVD
Also, check your headphones plugs... as soon as yoy plug them in (if headphones working properly), a pop up window appears down right [Information: You just plugged a device into the audio jack] & a couple windows asking you what kind of device you plugged in...

Edit 07/13/2011- There is out a new driver to solve issues on _x64 OS:

Hi,

im having same issue with sound card. i tried DVD with drivers, internet download from FS site, and still no luck

sound card works though, but the wheel for sound control doesn't work, which is pretty annoying since i got used to it in past few years.

any other suggestions?

ah i found the solution to 100% working card:

go to
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dow ... Down=false

and download the High Definition Audio Codecs, i did not try the ac'97 codecs, bit it just might work aswell, since in vista i had those installed by default.

just make sure you download latest version, with support to win 7, those on install DVD do not support win 7.
this file solved my problems:

OS: Vista, Windows7 Driver (32/64 bits) Driver only (ZIP file)
version: R2.45 2010/3/22
size: 56079k

all the rest drivers are properly located on diver & utilities DVD, just make sure you install all of them, even if some of the hardware works properly (example, graphics was ok, however, in hardware manager it was only as "standard VGA controller, so that had to be reinstalled with nvidia's drivers)
if you have problems with second hard drive like me (one disk wasn't recognized), go to control panel, administrative tools and find disk management, probably second drive has no drive letter assigned (example E: ), simply attach the letter, and voila, you just got one working drive with partitions back again, and no data lost

this solved all issues with my xa2528 and win 7 Pro, works better like with vista

I've had pretty much no problems at all with the windows 7 installation on the xa2528. Only thing is that i cant seem to get the WLAN driver to work. I downloaded em from the fujitsu siemens support site. I got it to work before but after some problems at home i failed and accidentally removed the drivers and now i cant seem to get it work again. Anyone else got similar problems? and maybe a solution???

I have a problem with the nvidea installation. The driver tells me that its dont work with win7. Even if i download the driver from http://www.nvidia.com. Enyone have had the same problem?
