Lately, my Notebook (F.S. Amilo Li 2727) has been shutting down without warning/message/... (as if it were unplugged) and I'm pretty sure this is caused by overheating (Cooling fan failing?).

Now my question is, is it difficult to access to Cooling Fan/CPU Unit or whatever. And can you explain me how it's done?

Thanks in advance,

I'm having exactly the same problem-

does anybody have a solution?

would be extremely grateful if anyone can give me any advice- i've looked at my system information, which isn't reporting a problem, and I installed speedfan, which can't even find data for my cooling fans.

Thanks

The Amilo li 2727 has a large inspection panel on the underside of the unit where you can install the ram and other units, The cooling system is easily detached through this panel, If you do decide to dismantle the cooling unit you will need some thermal paste for re-attachment of the cooling equipment this is important that you re-apply thermal paste back to the heatsinks or you face frying your machine.
