Hi people,
i get the beep error code of 1 - 3 - 1 - 3. Each beep same length. What do you think this mean? Is there a list of beep error codes for this model somewhere?
Does anybody know what bios is actually used on this laptop?
thanks

As far as I know, it's a Phoenix BIOS, so 1-3-1-3 would be a problem with the keyboard controller.

I'd try:
Hardware reset (see FAQ), reconnect the keyboard cable, connect an external keyboard (to see if it changes anything, given the first two options don't work).

i don't have a picture on the screen when i start up, so i can't load the default bios settings according to FAQs Hardware reset. And skipping this step didn't help. Still same problem. Thanks anyway.
