Amilo L1300 thermal sensor

Postby gthermos » Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:05 pm

Hello all, i have an amilo L1300 with upgraded cpu Intel Pentium M Centrino 2Ghz 2M L2 755 SL7EM Dothan series. My problem is that about a year ago while trying to reduce the noise of my fan the laptop got very hot and the result was that since then my cpu fan runs at maximum speed (with maximum noise!).
My question is if anyone has any idea what was broken ( my guess is the thermal sensor) and what part of the notebook can i change to fix it.
Thank you all in advance.

Hello,

I'd first try to replace the heat-conductive paste/pad, maybe that's the problem.
