1520si battery power control

Postby AndrewUK » Sun Oct 15, 2006 2:34 pm

There seems to be no functionality or software available to better control the power aspects of the 1520si I just bought.

The one thing I did find was settings in the Intel Video properties in the system tray, for extended power. Unfortunately all of these are greyed out and I cant select them.

Other than that I can only find the default screen/hard disk time out - How do I change things like turn on or off the bluetooth by default, or the other devices etc such as screen brightness for my power profiles?

Look forward to finding out so I can eek out every bit I can from the battery!
(especially as Ive been told there is no extended life battery for the 1520 because its designed as a "home" product).
thanks!

I don't know of any tools that can do that (on an Amilo).
Imho it is no problem to adjust the brightness by hand while working on battery.

You can also lower your cpu voltages with e.g. NHC.
