To Screw or not to Screw ? Amilo pi1505 keyboard removal

Postby markdixon » Sun Jan 10, 2010 9:53 pm

I need to remove the keyboard from my Amilo pi1505. Could anyone describe the removal procedure?
I note a couple of posts here talking about removing screws on other Amilo models.
Alternatively using various tools to prize semi-hidden tabs around the edge of the keyboard.

So, are there screws to remove for the pi 1505 keyboard, If so where are they to be found ?

Or is it just tabs ?

Thank you
Mark

According to this thread in our german forum you have to remove the central screw on the underside of the notebook and to loose some hinges on the sides of the keyboard:
