L1300 - 160 GB HDD and 1,25 GB RAM?

Postby minek » Fri Jan 22, 2010 1:08 am

I would like to find out whether L1300 will work fine with a 160 GB HDD. Fujitsu support informed me that max specs for this hardware are 512 MB RAM and 80 GB HDD. I' ve seen on another post that someone put 1 GB SODIMM into L1300 and it worked, but what about HDD? Has anyone had similar experience and cares to shed some light on the problem? Do you think that RAM upgrade will bring any significant performance improvement?

hecki in the German forum uses a 320 GB IDE disk, according to his profile:,5984,-hecki.html

A RAM upgrade from 512 MB to 1 GB or more will improve performance for sure.
