Amilopro V2060 and windows 7

Postby Fabio57 » Wed Feb 10, 2010 4:50 am

I've found an old Amilopro v2060 and I need to use it. I've installed windows seven 32 bit operative system and it works quite well but audio card doesn't work. In fact I wasn't able to find the correct drivers and it (doesn't ) works with the generic ones. Someone tried and solve the same problem ?? Any suggestion ?? Thanks a lot

I found this thread in the German forum:
http://www.amilo-forum.de/topic,29382,- ... -win7.html
There's a link to the sound driver.

Doesn't Windows 7 have a good driver for the Intel GMA graphics?

You could try to install the XP driver provided by Fujitsu or Intel, see http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-030907.htm (there is no official Windows 7 driver).

I don't know Aaron. The GMA graphics don't seem to be completely ok but ..... it can goes. At the same time I can set the screen resolution only up to 1024. Do you think it's normal ?? I don't know this kind of notebook

Yes, 1024x768 is the native resolution of the internal display - more isn't possible.

Ok Aaron. I didn't know that. Then ... if the native resolution is 1024x768 the system with win 7 shoud seem to be ok. Not too slow but .... it's an old machine

Thanks a lot Aaron. Where are you from ??

Last thing. As I told, this notebook is not mine but of a friend of mine and, for him, I wish to put all the old XP drivers on a cd.

Do you know where I can find all drivers for V2060 ?? Expecially the sata hard disk ones ??

Thanks a lot again

OK Aaron, thanks a lot. But I'm now uninstall win 7 and install XP again. The notebook runs too slow. I'm now trying to find the correct drivers for XP and expecially the HDD S-ATA controller drivers but ..... the link you gave me actually doesn't work. Do you know any alternate download site for all V2060 necessary drivers.

Sorry but .....

CIao Fabio

P.S.: I'm from Rome. Italy
