Jerky graphics (D1845)

Postby Irie87 » Sun Oct 22, 2006 9:06 pm

I have a D 1845 and I'm having a problem running NHL 06 or 07. When running off ac power the graphics are really jerky making the game unplayable but this does not happen in any other games. When running off battery the graphics are fine! I have had the laptop repaired lots of times due to power-related problems (it would seem) and have had new motherboards, fan replaced and so on. I have tried running the laptop with the battery taken out so the problem seems to be to do with the power somehow. Any ideas?

Cheers

The first answer to those questios is mostly similar, but did you install the latest drivers and Patches?
If nocthing else helps, you should try to reinstall Windows.

Yes, ATI do not offer support for my laptops chipset (Mobility Radeon 9600/9700) and according to the Fujitsu website I'm up to date.

Don't we have anything like the modded inf for the 6800?
Why don't the latest Catalyst drivers not work for your chipset?

I have no idea about the modded file. I install the update system and it returns a message: "Thank you for you interest in Catalyst. Unfortunetly this software update cannot be installed on yours system. Please contact your notebook manufacturer for driver updates"

You could try the Omega drivers.
