new XP installation on amilo 1510

Postby Lanthalas » Sun Mar 28, 2010 4:21 pm

Hi,

I got a amilo 1510 but without installation CD. I wanted to instal a official XP version from cd. Every things gone ok, I entered the XP code found on the amilo. However, when I started PC to access my user account, I was claimed to register the XP license. OK i do it, no errors messages, and when I click on the user account icon to loggin, I have once again the registration claim. In fact, I can't enter my account because activation is claimed each time.

do you have any clue? Is that possible to reload XP from offical CD or a original Fuji cd is requiered??

Thanks

Lanthy

Does Windows ask you to activate the license and then (after click on yes) say it is already activated? Or what happens?

You can try this:
http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/s ... ostcount=8
(execute "regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll" and "regsvr32.exe licdll.dll" in safe mode, that restores two required entries for the Windows activation, if necessary)
