[Lost Heaven]

Hi everybody:

I'm in need of urgent help. I decided to replace my Amilo's 3438 cpu and do a pin mod on the new one. However, now that I opened the laptop, I found out that to reach the cpu, I have to dismantle the cooler too, as the air intake pipe comes from there and is blocking the access to the cpu, as you can see from the pic.. Anyone here that has already replaced his cpu could help me and explain me how did they managed to dismantle this thing?

Nevermind, I managed to sort it out eventually. The trick is to dismantle the whole cooling mechanism as one. There's one big screw at the left of the fan case, and 4 screws on top of the metalic block above the GPU. It's necessary to unscrew them and then, with some persistance, pull the whole mechanism up.

Hope it helps someone who finds the same problems as I did.
