Amilo Pi 1505 - use with high definition projector

Postby slayeduk » Thu May 06, 2010 8:10 pm

The camera club, of which I am a member, wishes to buy a digital projector with improved definition, ie SXGA (1280 x 1024). This is higher than the natural resolution of the laptop. The Amilo will do 1280 x 800 and I wonder if this will drive the new projector OK and will not result in any problems with the laptop.

That shouldn't be a problem, my Samsung NC10 also has the Intel GMA graphics chip and only a native resolution of 1024x600 pixels. But I can use an external monitor with 1680x1050 without problems (choose the external display as primary output and deactivate the laptops display or use the external monitor as an extension of the desktop).
