Recovery console with SATA for PI 2530 ?

Postby legyptien » Tue Sep 07, 2010 9:52 am

Hello,

First sorry for my english, it's not y first language.

My problem is that i have a CD of Windows XP PRO with the good SATA drivers (integrate with Nlite). So this a good thing. The fact is unfortunately there isn't the Recovery Console (RC) inside this CD. So i want to integrate it into the RC. Should i do integrate it with Nlite ? and how ?

I was thinking about something (in 2 steps) which is may be weird:

1) To integrate the SATA drivers into the RC. But i don't know how to do it and which software i have to use ?
2) To integrate the SATA RC into the windows XP PRO (with SATA integated). But i don't know how to do it and which software (Nlite may be) i have to use ?

May be the first step is NOT usefull since the SATA drivers are already in the CD of Win XP PRO...

Thanks a lot for your futur answers :)

You mean, you can't press "R" for the recovery console using your CD? It should look like this: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixthepro ... sole_3.htm
