Disabling internal num key on Amilo Pi 2540

Postby Enerccio » Mon Sep 13, 2010 5:06 pm

Hello.
I am blender user and for that I will need external keyboard along with normal keyboard for shortcuts, so I bought externam numeric keyboard. But here lies the problem, when I plug in, it will work, but the internal numeric keypad will be activated as well, making it incredibly annoying and totally defeating the point.
Can anyone help me, I am desperate here, because only solutions I found so far were changes in bios, but my BIOS has hardly anything there....

Sorry to say that, but there is no way to have the internal keyboard working without NumKey activated while the external num pad has it activated. The notebook has no way to distinguish the one from the other.
If you really need both at the same time, you'll need to get a full USB keyboard, not just a num pad.
