Li 2727 Wifi. launch manager, powermanager dl solution? win7

Postby echo3 » Fri Nov 19, 2010 8:25 pm

Have trawled internet, issue, installed win 7, wifi not working. Have installed launch manager (not sure if version is issue?) But now brings up wifi box when Fn F1 pressed, yet all greyed out in 'off' mode, unable to switch to on. Have seen maybe need Powermanager.exe to resolve.
No matter where I go, cannot seem to locate download area for both latest launch and powermanager, and seems resolution sited may come from latest version fresh re-install?. Is this the case?. Can anyone give resolution to this problem, and maybe alternative external dl links to launch and powermanager files? Fujitsu site dl area does not connect for some reason. Thanks

Thanks for the link Aaron. Unfortuately did not work for me, may for others. I've also tried updating the wireless driver with the latest from Atheros website, makes no difference. The driver is working, and launch manager opens, but all options are greyed out and unable to switch wireless to 'on'.

I managed to get it working as I managed to get onto Fujitsu site and downloaded the latest BIOS which resolved issue, from here..

Vista BIOS at top of list, I used the winflash version to update off hard drive.
