Amilo Pi 2530 Vista 64 bit problems

Postby Meggy » Tue Dec 07, 2010 2:10 pm

Hy everybody!

I've got some problem with my Pi 2530.
I installed the Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 64 bit to my laptop.
I didn't find any driver in the official webpage to this operation system, only Vista 32 bit supported.
Luckly, most of the drivers are working good, but my ATI Radeon HD 2300 isn't.
I tried to install ATI Catalyst Control Center 10.11, but when the installation finish, the vista says this driver won't work correctly.
I used the automatic driver search, and it finds a driver, but it doesn't install any catalyst control center.

So I need a little help, because i can't solve this problem. How can I install this correctly?
Anyway is this Pi 2530 able to use vista 64 bit? Or I have to change this operating system to another?
If the answer is yes, which operating system is the best to this laptop if I want to play?

Thank you for the answers!

(and sorry for my bad English)

Hi,

did you try the Catalyst legacy driver? The HD2300 doesn't really belong to the HD2000 series, it's based on the X1300/X1350 series.
