D1845 - SD slot 1GB limit?

Postby NickS » Thu Nov 09, 2006 2:19 pm

My son tried a 2GB SD card in the card reader slot of our Amilo D1845. After a long time it brought up the index, but when he tried to transfer data it gave him an error after ~1GB. A 1GB card worked fine.

Has anyone else found this limit?

Thankyou.
>sigh<
Just another of those irritating instances of not quite getting it right, I guess.

The insteresting thing about it is that I can read/write anything up to 1gb used space on a 2gb card, i e I can write a 990mb moviefile if the card is blank but the second I break the 1GB barrier it stops responding.
