Postby SoFi » Fri Nov 17, 2006 12:36 am

Hello,

Iam so confused of my new Amilo pi1505 as i am hitting on the mouse pad everymin typing on the keyboard!
Its too sensetive and close to the keybaord.

So, I have 2 questions please:

1- Is there a scroll in this pad or not ? cuz I cant see on it.
2- Is there a way to disable it while using a USB mouse ?

Thanks.

1.)
Normally you should be able to scroll if the driver is installed. But tomhe has the same problem, so I'm not sure.
Which driver do you have?

2.)
Your driver has to support it. Maybe it's possible to install another that has this option.
Can you configure the sensitivity of your touchpad?

Regards

Driver is installed, and has just now installed the Synaptics latest driver but still cant scroll.
I believe Pi1505 does not support scrolling.

Anyway, today I have bough a new notebook Microsoft USB optical mouse with scrolling and its great. but is there a way to disable the touchpad from working while using the USB mouse ?

Thanks.

Synaptics device driver

Postby frogsuk » Wed Jan 17, 2007 10:57 pm

IMPORTANT NOTE
The Synaptics device driver is customized to meet the specific requirements of your device manufacturer. To ensure that you get the appropriate device driver for your system, download your Synaptics device driver from your system manufacturer's support website.

http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/ ... index.html

For more information on the advanced features enabled by the Synaptics Driver, view our Driver Product Brief.

Note: Installing a generic driver can result in the loss of customized Synaptics pointing device functionality.

Disable Touchpad

Postby dvpalmer » Thu Mar 15, 2007 10:29 am

Hi,

I'm having the same problem!!!!!

I have an Amilo M1450G and I want to disable the touchpad as it is too sensitive, how can I do this?

When I go to the Fujitsu Siemens website there are no manuals or downloads available for this model.

Thanks.

Go to mouse settings in your control panel. Fins 'device settings' bookmark, then just disable Synapsis Pointing device. You can also find sensitivity adjust somewhere there. I'm using polish XP so I'm not sure about the names.
