just new here guys, and found some help info already

ive a a1645 with a AMD Sempron 3300+ and im looking to reduce the noise of the fan.

can it be replaced?

i downloaded Speedfan 4.31 but it doesnt pick up the fan so i can turn it down to an acceptable noise level....altho it does pick up the temp. sensor which is nice!!

It's not easy to replace a fan of a laptop with another (which is more silent), there are several problems. I know of very few who did that - and you'll lose warranty for sure.

hi!

just registered to this forum. i have a FUJITSU SIEMENS Amilo A1667 Series and the fan gives an extreme loud and extreme high noise even in normal operating mode.

I've made two samples about the noise, do you thing are they normal noise or not?

normal.mp3
high.mp3

Is there any ways to replace the fan at home or in a service center?

Thanks,
Peter
