drivers amilo pro V2045

Postby cele1989 » Sun Nov 19, 2006 1:52 pm

I cannot instal windows XP professional on my amilo pro V2045.
I know that it's because of the drivers...
I found a solution:
topic,26,-Installation-of-Windows-XP-Home-Pro-PE-FAQs.html
But I still having the problem
that I can't find the right drivers...
I went to the fujitsu-siemens website and I downloaded the drivers but couldn't find a txtsetup.oem or viamraid.inf...

So my question is, do you know where I can get them?

Try the driver of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager as used for the Pixxxx

You can also use these:

I donwloaded the drivers and everything, but which driver do I have to pick out the list after selecting the txtsetup.oem...
I don't know which I have to choose.
Is there somthing else that I should pay attention to?
And if I just burn the files in my windows folder does it automatically start the cd?

press any button when the computer asks for it 8)

You used nlite? Seems to be a common problem. Use XP-ISO-Builder.

PS: Use CD-RWs

I did use xp iso builder and I don't get the question to push any key.
I pressed f12 and selected the cd-drive and I just get a black screen...

ok, so...

it doesn't worsen anything if you integrate more drivers than needed.
Integrate all drivers that are listed in the txtsetup.oem and do also Hardware and BIOS-Reset as described in the Hardware FAQ that you can find here in the forum.

Thats what I did with my Windows XP Pro. CD and Amilo Pi1505, and worked just like a charm.

BIOS- and Hardware-Reset (The standard solution for many problems!)
- Load in BIOS the "Setup Defaults", quit with "Save&Exit"
- Switch off the notebook, remove batteries and AC adapter, press the power button for 10 seconds
