[Amilo li 3710] The video driver gone..?

Postby Dima » Mon May 09, 2011 7:14 pm

Hey guys..
I have Amilo Notebook Li 3710.
I had installed an a program to update the drivers on my comp...but something went wrong...
The program asked me to restart the comp...i restarted...and i can't change the resolution over 1024X768.
I re-installed the driver does a system restore...but nothing help.
When i look at the device manager, next device appears a small yellow triangle.
what to do?
(sorry for the bad English)

I would do the following:
Uninstall this tool, uninstall from the software list all drivers you can find which might have been installed by this tool, install latest official drivers you get from Fujitsu.

Did this tool also flash the BIOS?

Best,
Borkar

Hey Borkar:)
thanks for answering.
I wonder, how i can know wish drivers the program are updated?
however I thought maybe i can do a windows repair with the windows disk.
For your question- the program did not flash my bios, if remember right..i think i flashed my bios with the last version from Fujitsu website.

thanks.

well, you could check the driver version and date and find out that way whether the driver is the original one or the one of this tool.

If I had this problem, I would consider formatting and a complete new installation of Windows. But this is just an opinion and maybe not what you want.

Concerning this triangle: You may also want to try to find out what it is and install the driver for it. This sticky may help

You can find the ID of your hardware in the device manager when opening the properties window and look through the tabs.

it is definitely the best choice, although it might be time consuming.
