Amilo 6810 with no reaction

Postby Bendo » Thu Dec 07, 2006 12:32 pm

Hello, i am looking for a cheap laptop to use at school, anyway i found one at a danish actions place, where a person sells a Amilo 6810, but he writes that the computer just shows black screen and no reactions... he also writes that he was told that all it takes to make it work is a bios reset. could this be true?
What do you say guys, should i go for it ?

Thanks in advance

Why doesn't he reset the BIOS himself? That would be my question ;-)
Or did something go wrong when flashing the BIOS chip? Then you'd have to get a new one - but I don't know if that is possible for this notebook.

I wouldntt bother with it. not worth the time of day.

How about the cheapest laptop from DELL?

If your school computers are DELL get your IT teacher to get you one for even cheaper because he works at the school.
