Hi there

Ive recently been given a Amilo 8820 D lappy - it has display issue in that the chap who had it before damaged the original screen so replaced it and could never get it working again - i have played with it and got the lappy to power up - it flashes the A and 1 lock indicator then the screen comes on but goes a blue cloudy effect with no post information ect - although the lappy fan is spinning and seams to be one itself - no post beeps - it used to beep but that was a memory error so ive put 256 sodimm in there. so the only issue i can see is getting the screen working/configed ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You should try the Fn-key for switching display output.

You are not sure? Did you try? Often it is possible.
