Hi.
yes my kernel (2.6.14-wks26-up-alt4) supports suspending.
Here is moiety of dmesg related to suspend
Suspend2 Core.
Suspend2 Compression Driver loading.
Suspend2 Encryption Driver loading.
Suspend2 Swap Writer loading.
ACPI wakeup devices:
LID0 SLPB AZAL RP01 RP02 RP03 RP04 LANB MODM
ACPI: (supports S0 S3 S4 S5)
Actually Linux suspends to ram or to disk.... but the reverse unsuspending doesn't work.
In case of Suspend-to-RAM it shuts down notebook in 1-2 seconds. When I try to resume back, computer starts but the screen is black from the very beggining. Caps Lock Num Lock buttons work but thats all, no response to Ctrl+Alt+del or Ctrl+Alt+BackSpc.
In case of Suspend-to-disk, upon resuming book freezes at the very begining (the same as sus-to-ram), after reset it start booting linux kernel followed by resuming process. The resume reaches stage of "reading cachies" 47/123MB and freezes.
So I may suggest that suspend2 software lacks some instructions for this notebook model when resuming is started.
in hibernate.log there is nothing about errors.
the last line is hibernate: Activating suspend ...
