Amilo 1310G: WLAN and LAN Driver Queries  Topic is solved

Postby Ahmed » Sun Jan 07, 2007 11:35 am

I have a 15 month old Amilo 1310G notebook. I reinstalled Windows XP on the machine. Now I need to load the correct drivers for the LAN and WLAN functionality. What are the names and versions of the drivers that I should use ? I believe this notebook has 802.11b and 802.11g capability. Do I use a RAILINK driver or an ATHEROS driver or should I install both drivers ? ? ? Thanks.

I had to install all over again windows and the drivers, but i downloaded the drivers for ratlink from the site of the brand and not the driver's from fujitsu, what appended was that i had more gain in signal of the wireless. Sorry to say but the Fujitsu Drivers are shit.

My Amilo L1310G worked with Atheros with the original Win XP HE. When I switched to XP Pro, nothing could make Atheros work - irritating as it is.

Nothing was wrong, that`s the hitch. I just can`t turn the radio on. Push the button and nothing. When I bought it with HE it was ok.

Just to share experience - the problem was solved by installing Power Manager downloaded from FS site. Then the button started working.
